If you were a vegetable or herb what would you be, and why?
I would be green and leafy which is a metaphor for my political and environmental focus.
What advice would you give your 20-year old self about life?
Keep the wonder & curiosity and say yes to any opportunity to try new experiences, particularly if they take you out your comfort zone.
What is it about YFM that made you say YES to being on the board?
The global food industry has given me many great opportunities and I was delighted to be asked to contribute to an organisation created by the next generation of food thought leaders who are intent on contributing to the changes they want to see in the production, distribution and consumption of food in Australia. What a wonderful opportunity to give back!
It’s your last day on earth, what would the setting of your last meal be and what would you eat and/or drink?
It would be a picnic with family & friends on the bow of a boat in a beautiful bay we had just swam in. We would be eating fresh produce bought at the local market that morning and toasting our good fortune with a special bubbles.
