Tell us a bit about you.

I’m 23 years old, love all things outdoors and nature related and am a keen rock-climber and lover of food (obviously)! My background is a degree in Biodiversity and Conservation, with Honours in Environmental Management. I now work for KESAB environmental solutions, running school education programs around waste and recycling. While I work around all areas of waste, food waste is something I’ve been a bit obsessive over for a long time (just ask my partner), and no doubt will be something I continue to obsess over into the future!

Why YFM?

I’m passionate about preventing food waste, and as a young person the Youth Food Movement has an obvious appeal! It’s fantastic to work with so many other talented and equally passionate folk to make a difference on something so important.

What is your favourite food memory?

Thanksgiving with my full US extended family- Turkey, gravy, smashed potato, candied yams, pumpkin pie, pecan pie, and the biggest food coma in existence.

Last meal you would eat before the apocalypse?

Pumpkin pie – the greatest comfort food in existence.
