Ride On Lunch

This year’s Ride On Lunch invites young foodies and the young at heart to indulge their crush on food, while also falling in love with Sydney by bike. The theme of the ride is our relationship with food, so you’ll hear intimate stories of passion, infatuation and all-consuming love for food along the way. Riders will meet young farmers, gardeners, chefs and cooks who will reveal their own culinary love stories, and their devotion to a sustainable food future.

Youth Food Movement Sydney

I’m an international student doing journalism at UTS.
I can’t think of three different things that inspire me more in life: food, listen to people’s own stories and write about them.
I believe that this event not only meet these three passions, but merges them into an unforgettable journey.

I think it’s really open minded and refreshing that the “youth” age bracket is 20 somethings and 30 somethings.
I hope there are many more – and no one goes to eat at fast food outlets again.
